Camera hunting is popular and often you get a chance to snap moose, deer and bear in their natural haunts. Gustafson's Resort guests come from many parts of Canada and the United States. They are sportsmen, vacationing families, and are just nice people to know!

As our guests you are only 10 miles from Kenora. Kenora has many interesting craft and souvenir shops. The city also offers indoor shopping and large grocery stores. There are churches of many denominations, dinner cruises on the M.S. Kenora, mill tours, a golf course, fine dining, cocktails and much much more!

LongBow Lake

Know as the "Fisherman's Paradise" this lovely lake is abundant with a large variety of fish.

Lake Trout:

Found in abundance in lakes surrounding the area. Daily limits by deep trolling are a common occurrence. Shallow fishing on the reefs in the spring and fall produce excellent fishing, big ones too. Its fishing you'll never forget.

Walleyed Pike:

Is one of the most abundant game fish. Daily limits within sight of our cabins are enjoyed by many of our guests. Fish weighing up to ten pounds are caught on occasion. Walleyes represent the largest catch of all species.

Northern Pike:

Is the most numerous of the game fish. Everyone will get a thrill fishing for this gamey fish which puts up a real fight even in the late summer.

Muskies:

Are not as abundant as many claim but when you get one, then it is usually the one many fishermen dream about.

Smallmouth Bass:

Nobody ever questions the fighting ability of the smallmouth and you'll get a real thrill whenever you get one on your end of the line, often up to five pounds.
